Van brings over 20 years of experience in commercial and editorial photography. He has photographed campaigns for Louis Vuitton and Sony but decided to do something about seeing friends stuck with bad family portraits. He loves looking at old pictures of his family from the 80’s and 90’s, so he figured why not make these type of pictures for today’s family.

Madison grew up on her family farm in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Her mother is a photographer, which often led Madison to rise early at her mother’s request to actualize her sudden inspiration. Creativity permeated her household, and the family photos taken during those moments continue to adorn the walls of her childhood home.

When Madison and Van met, they knew pretty quickly they would end up together in life, but soon realized also in business. Their passion for photography and capturing families at their most authentic and timeless moments has inspired Madivan studios.
